Frequently Asked Questions
What do you need from me to start a custom bag and get a quote?
Send us whatever you have — a tech pack, sketch or reference photos. The more detail you share, the more accurate your sample and quote will be: dimensions, materials, colors, weave pattern, construction, hardware and logo requirements. Photos from several angles help a lot, especially of the sides, bottom, opening, lining and any hidden joins. A single photo usually isn’t enough to identify the material or internal construction. For a quote, please also tell us your order quantity.
What is your MOQ, and can I mix colors to reach it?
Our MOQ is 50 pieces per style, per color. Colors can’t be combined to reach it — for example, 30 black and 20 tan of the same style are two colors below MOQ, not one order of 50. Special materials, colors, hardware or constructions may have additional requirements, which we confirm for each project. If your quantities don’t fit, tell us your plan and we’ll talk it through.
How long does sampling take?
About two weeks for a regular style. Special materials, complex weaves, new constructions, custom hardware or several rounds of revisions can take longer. We’ll confirm your sampling schedule once we’ve reviewed your design.
Do you charge for samples?
Yes. The sample fee is US$150 per style, and sample shipping is paid by the buyer. When your bulk order for the same style reaches 100 pieces, we credit the sample fee toward the order payment.
Can you make the same design in PU leather instead of cowhide?
We can discuss it, but the result won’t be identical. PU differs from cowhide in thickness, flexibility and how it behaves when woven, so the feel, shape and look of the bag can change. The design usually needs some adjustment, and we’ll review a sample with you before moving forward.
Can I send you my own leather or material?
Yes. Send us a small quantity first and we’ll test how it cuts, bends, weaves and joins. If it works, we’ll confirm with you how much material production needs, the usable yield and how it will be restocked. Not every material is suitable for weaving, so the trial always comes first.
What logo options do you offer?
Common options include embossing, foil stamping, screen printing and woven labels. Custom metal logos are also possible but may require tooling. The best method depends on your material and quantity — we’ll confirm the process, tooling and cost with your quote.
What is your lead time for bulk orders?
Our reference delivery time is 1–3 months. The exact schedule, including when it starts, depends on your order and is confirmed with you when you order. Please treat it as a planning guide, not a guaranteed arrival date.
What are your payment terms?
For a first order, we take a 50% deposit, with the 50% balance paid before shipment. For repeat orders, it’s a 30% deposit and 70% balance before shipment. We currently accept T/T (bank transfer) and ship on FOB terms. If you need different terms, let us know and we’ll discuss them.
How do you check quality, and can I inspect your factory?
Finished bags go through two inspection steps before shipment. You’re also welcome to arrange a third-party inspection. If you’d like to see us first, we can show you around the factory on a video call, or you can visit us in Dongguan, China for an on-site audit.

Our Workshop and Weaving Team
Our workshop covers approximately 3,000 m².
We work with more than 230 weavers, with an average of over eight years of weaving experience. A further 18 team members handle cutting, quality inspection and packaging.
Our approximate monthly capacity is 7,000–10,000 bags. Actual capacity and schedules depend on the design, materials, weaving complexity and production workload.
Our family’s weaving craft spans four generations, beginning with bamboo baskets in the Qing dynasty. Over time, we adapted that knowledge to cowhide weaving and leather bags. Our experience in woven leather bags spans nearly 30 years, while the family craft has a longer history.
